I woke up late to start off...Then I sat in bed sinfully scrolling through social media. I don't like to do that so goodness knows why I do! It's like I'm looking for answers to questions so deep inside, I don't even know what they are.
When I finally got out of bed, I poured myself some coffee out of the pot that had been brewed probably 3 days ago. After putting it in the microwave, I picked up my special beer tankard and put it back on its display shelf where it belongs. It's a lovely copper-looking thing I picked up at a local antique store.
I did some (what I call dynamic stretches) and went to get my coffee. I remember thinking, "Dang, that microwave was quiet!" Well, yes, it IS quiet when you don't push the start button. Or set a time. I had just put the cup in there and expected the advanced technology to just assume what I wanted and to warm that coffee right up.
After that, I picked up some socks the monsters (my ferrets) had brought out to the living room and gingerly tossed my cell phone into the laundry bin. Yup. Then I walked out, wondering "Now, where is that phone? Did I leave it in the kitchen?" Coffee blessedly warm, I sat down and could not figure out why my phone wasn't working. Spoiler alert: It's because it was a sock.
